Our provider starts by performing a specific chiropractic exam which includes a history, observation, static palpation, gate analysis, and conformation, Then a technique called motion palpation is used to diagnose a Vertebral Subluxation Complex. When a joint in the spine or extremity is found to have abnormal motion (to much or to little) a low force, high speed adjustment is performed to restore the normal range of motion, reduce inflammation, and decrease nerve irritation, . 

In addition to the more subtle signs there may be other more obvious signs of neck and back discomfort that may be confused with behavioral problems. These signs can include:
